BOXABLE LIFTING/Canting Keel Production Yacht

At the very top of the design brief for this vessel was the unusual request that the boat be able to fit into a standard shipping container in order to drastically reduce the cost of moving the boat from Australia to the Med on a regular basis. This has been achieved with a very narrow hull and a very elegant lifting/canting keel arrangement, which incorporates a canting keel box through which the keel fin slides. The rudder lifts out of a drum style bearing arrangement, which also assists with simplifying break down for shipping. The boat is currently in construction in Sydney and is expected to launch early 2006 in Sydney and again in Italy in July and then in Sweden.
